Altered book bag

For Eva's last book bag, I had her name scrawled over the front, as neat as I could (sort of!). This year I decided to try something a little different. By using a piece of Hodgepodge, the Short Order Alphabet stamp set and some crystal effects Eva now has a smart book bag.

1 Select a hardware frame from the Hodgepodge kit.
2 Embellish a small piece of card stock to display in the frame.
3 Fill in the frame with Crystal Effects.

Note: The Crystal Effects takes time to dry, don't be tempted to touch it until it is set hard. You will get a fingerprint otherwise (no matter how light you touch it!!)
Feel free to contact me at any time if you need tips and advice on any of your Stampin' Up! products. It is often easy to forget how to use a tool that you have only seen demonstrated once. Better still come and join my Stamp Club starting 25th March. Contact me for m ore details on 09 238 2100.

More Stamp Fest Christmas Cards

Please excuse the saying, it is on a bit of a lean. I was trying to finish the card with my 21 month old son in my arms. Obviously not something that I shall try again!!

Stamp Fest Christmas Cards

Over the next couple of days I will post some of the cards that we will be making at Stamp Fest. You will have the opportunity to make up to 8 lovely cards. Please note that these cards are what I have planned for you at the moment however, in typical Donna style I may make changes or have completely changed the design by the Stamp fest date. (I can't help myself I love to play!!)

Wedding Box With A Twist

I love the Sour Cream Box. It is very quick, easy and stunning! It is basically a cylinder that is twisted in the middle. Check out http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ for the tutorial. The white Baroque Motif design and the flowers are embossed. For the flowers I dipped a piece of black card stock into versamark then clear embossed it before punching with the Trio Flower Punch.
The white circles of the flower have a blob of Crystal Effects on it to give the 'brad' look.
Give me a shout if you need to stock up your craft cupboard.
