Wedding Box With A Twist

I love the Sour Cream Box. It is very quick, easy and stunning! It is basically a cylinder that is twisted in the middle. Check out http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ for the tutorial. The white Baroque Motif design and the flowers are embossed. For the flowers I dipped a piece of black card stock into versamark then clear embossed it before punching with the Trio Flower Punch.
The white circles of the flower have a blob of Crystal Effects on it to give the 'brad' look.

Stunning Flower

This is another version of the scalloped flower card. I demonstrated how to make the flower at the Stampin' Up! Auckland regional training. We had a great time at the training and it was lovely meeting other SU! demonstrators. If you are one of those lovely ladies thank you for making the day so enjoyable.

That is the great thing about the Stampin' Up! company is that you get great training, make great new friendships and of course make good money aswell.

Scalloped Circle With A Difference

Hows this for a different flower. This flower was made using the scalloped circle punch, daubing around the edge in Pumpkin Pie ink. I'll have to tell you the rest later or tomorrow. I have visitors just arrive and you need a lot of details for this one.

That will keep you guessing!!

Black Baroque

This picture does not do this card justice. I have used the 'En Francais' background stamp (page 109 SU! Ideas Book and Catalogue) in basic black ink. I have then used 'Baroque Motif' in black emboss powder and gold emboss powder on the vellum paper. I have added gold brads to hold the vellum in place.

Baroque Revamp

I made this card for my November workshop and absolutely love it. It is very quick to make, very stylish and fabulous.........well, it was until I blinged it up and now it is amazing! Though I am disappointed that the embossing doesn't look so good on the photo as in real life!

I have embossed the images by double inking the image (versamark first and then Choc Chip Ink). Then it was clear embossed and heated with the SU! heat tool.

I have then put a gold brad through the embellishment (though next time I'd use the clear rhinestone brad to make it really 'posh'!) and finished off using the ever gorgeous 5/8" choc chip grosgrain ribbon.

If you have never tried embossing you really must. It is absolutely stunning and so easy to do. Embossing With Eva

This months theme for workshops is embossing (until mid July), so if you are keen to emboss, book to host a workshop.

Eva and I spent some time yesterday making these cards together . We stamped the Baroque Motif image onto Bella Rose Designer Series Paper using versamark. We then used white emboss powder heated with the SU! heat tool.

The funniest thing is that I preferred Eva's stamped image and swapped hers for mine to show in my demonstrations! She is determined that she will be a demonstrator when she grows up.

Tea For Two

This is one of the cards that the ladies at my card class will be making on Monday night.

The flower in the middle is done by the Tea Bag Fold technique. And the card was one of the Make and Take cards that the wonderfully talented Michelle Habib demonstrated to the Franklin part of her team at the end of March. It was originally stamped with an image from the now retired Mostly Flowers stamp set (so if you are an owner of that one definately give this technique a go).

I have had the pieces of this one scattered about my office for several weeks and finally finished it tonight. I turned on the computer had a look at Michelle's blog and she put her new version on a couple of days ago. Great minds think alike! Michelle used the Boho Backgrounds stamp set. This is a revamp of the first card swap I did with the New Plymouth Team when I first joined Stampn' Up! last August. I think that the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper looks Fab!

Tip: Use an aqua pen to dampen the Designer Series Paper and the background Cameo Coral card stock. Screw the card up and then carefully flatten out to give your card extra texture.
