2. Using a scoring blade or your bone folder, score lines as above. (Ignore the holes, I forgot to take photos until I had already punched them).with donna calley, Independent Stampin' Up!demonstrator Contact 09 238 2100 or e-mail donnacalley@xtra.co.nz

A great stamp set to use for the wording is 'Wonderful Favourites' which is currently on special until 24th January. At $35.21 for a 23 piece stamp set it is a steal
The technique I have used to stamp the horses is called Stamping Off or Repetition. This technique is a great way to get several shades of colour from a single ink pad.

The Circle Scissors Plus can create circles from 1" to 16cm (and everything inbetween) so is an extremely versatile tool.
Now, how is this example for using the catalogue as inspiration? The original is from page 100 from the catalogue and uses Seeing Spots (currently reduced to $26.96) and Schoolbook Serif Alphabet stamp set. On mine I have used the lovely Wanted stamp set (currently reduced to $38.21).

The above card is copied from the Ideas Book and Catalogue, pg 141 and is a great layout and colour combination for boys.
With my version of the card from pg 141, I have used the Occasionally stamp set, currently reduced to $41.48, to produce a card that could also be used for a boy. I really like the use of the Whisper White Craft ink on a darker colour to create the stars. The hemp twine adds to the beach theme.

I know these are a little early!! But I thought that you would like to see other things that can be done with the Occasionally stamp set is currently half price at $41.48. You could use many of the images in the same layout. Try altering the colours a little to whatever suits you and the occasion.
The card above was made by the talented Paula Frearson. She has also used the Family Favourites stamp set that is 25% off at $29.96.
This thank you card has been based on the Thank You card on page 34 of the Stampin' Up! Ideas Book and Catalogue 2009-2010 (the catalogue is the best place to find great ideas, card layouts and inspiration.
